The crowd that had gathered around to watch the competition began to feel increasingly nervous as the tensions of the competitors rose. The air seemed to crackle with electricity as Thad and Kuro stared each other down in front of the arcade cabinet. It had started with a 'friendly' wager over who would win with both of them consistently increasing the stakes and taunting each other until their taunts had begun to sound more like serious threats and the stakes were insane. Thad wagered a massive stack of bills while Kuro, unable to match this amount, put herself on the line.

No one around felt like this was a good idea anymore except for Emmy who wasn't letting the darkened atmosphere stifle her passionate cheering for Kuro. Moo shifted uncomfortably beside her and wondered if the promise of a free lunch was worth accompanying her friend. Sol had stepped out of the crowd, planning on challenging the cute hound girl to the next game but the aggression emenating from the two had managed to pierce even his thick veil of cluelessness and confidence. A little voice in his head told him that this wasn't a good idea and he carefully slunk back into the wall of people surrounding them, nearly jumping when he felt someone grab and tug on his shirt suddenly.

"So... what's happening here again?" Monte stared up at him, idly taking a drink of her soda, apparently unfazed by the tension as well. He didn't have a chance to explain anything to her before the games suddenly began.

Their game was intense, their skills seemingly matched as they battled for dominance. The two started by trading barbs and trash talking, that devolved into nasty insults and finally turned physical when they began shouldering each other, shoving each other to the side. It was impressive how, despite the size difference, Kuro managed to match and possibly surpass Thad in physical strength. The game itself was a close one, with the first round going to Kuro, and the second to Thad. The final round was incredibly close, with both of their characters dwindling on the very last bit of their life before....

The crowd cheered as Kuro snuck in a final blow. She took up a triumphant pose but her eyes were still shooting daggers into Thad as he matched her glare. Quickly the excitement died down as everyone remembered the tension between the two and everyone quickly began to shuffle away from the group, not wanting to get caught up in whatever was about to go down.

"You're just lucky." Thad said coldly.

"You're just a loser." Kuro snapped back. "But if you want a rematch, you know where to find me."

Thad sucked his teeth at her and turned to stalk away, now in a sour mood that his plans were ruined for tonight. His exit was suddenly impeded as a great pair of yellow tits bounded out from the dissipating crowd and latched onto his arm.

"I'll take you up on a bet. If you win you can have me ALL night long." Cowqet winked up at him. Thad recoiled slightly, her advances coming off as more threatening than alluring thanks to the sheer amount of sexual energy emenating from her. Plus, he was already in a sour mood and wanted to pass that nastiness onto someone else.

"No thanks." He'd say, peeling her off him and continuing his march out of the arcade.

Sol, still somewhat intimidated by the fire that flared in Kuro's eyes as she continued to glare at Thad over her freshly aquired stack of cash, glanced down at the handful of arcade tokens he'd already bought, then turned to Cowqet.

"Hey... uh... I-I'll play you in a few games... Uh, what kind of games are you into?"

Cowqet eyed him for a moment before smiling and taking him by the hand. He would do nicely. "Oh, I love all kinds of games. Come on, I'll show you."
