"Goodbye"

"But I-"

"Have a nice day"

"One moment I-"

"You have the materials-"

"Yes but I-"

"And now you can BE ON YOUR WAY"

It would be a fascinating thing to watch Bauer, who easily dwarfed Platina with his size, attempt to herd her out of the cottage without actually putting his hands on her. He kept making motions as if he were about to push her towards
the door or walk into her but never had the heart to go through with it. Witches held a certain sway with Bauer, he had a lot of respect and admiration for most anyone within the magic community as long as they fit a certain mold. They
had to have some sort of respectability as a true professional, and while the fox was only an apprentice, he knew of her master and had a great amount of respect towards her. That, coupled with the fact that despite her relative 'newness'
to the field, Bauer could see her becoming a great witch one day. She was very studious and had an eye for gardening, but there were aspects of her he didn't quite appreciate. Like testing potions on unsuspecting alchemists.

"I'm in no rush." He also didn't like how she knew enough about him to know what little threat he would pose to her. "I just wanted-"

"No." He cut her off. There was also the fact that she could be extremely convincing. Too smart for her own good. It was best to just not let her speak if he wanted avoid another... event. "No, no potions. I'm not drinking any
potions, I have too much work to do today. I still have to collect some Dracenian Orchids for an order-"

"OH! I'd love to come with you!"

"No. It's too dangerous." He wasn't as forceful on this stance, a mistake for sure but he was just happy he'd managed to avoid becoming a test subject again.

"If I can see how it grows in the wild it'll help me learn how to cultivate my own! Plus, way out in the woods, I can practice some of the spells I've been studying without having to worry much about hurting anyone or breaking anything.
My Master said I should try to get as much experience as possible and with someone as trusted as you to supervise I'm sure this would be the perfect trip!"

Bauer tried to cut her off several times, but she ignored him and spoke over him. He could only just see her eyes under the brim of her hat as she beamed up at him and he knew his mistake had been letting her gain any momentum. At this
point it was easier to just agree rather than challenge her logic. He didn't have the patience for it.

"Fine." He relented, retrieving a basket. "Three rules: You carry the basket, you do what I tell you, and you leave the potions behind. Yes, ALL of the po-NO DONT PUT THEM NEAR MY DRINKS!"
