Bauer sat across from the small fox witch-in-training as he eyed her suspiciously. He had been thorough in checking the tea she'd brought over for any sign of it being laced with some sort of magic or potion. He'd refused any and all attempts she'd made to brew the tea herself and had forced her to sit in her chair instead. Still... something didn't feel right. Despite some small voice in his head telling him to not drink the tea, he still gave in. Her story of bringing the tea over as a favor for her Master seemed to make sense, and he had been diligent in watching for any signs of tampering. Plus it was his favorite type of tea.

They engaged in small chat, mostly plant and garden focused before shifting into a talk about the tea, then to how nice it was of her Master to send her smart and beautiful student to see him.

Bauer furrowed his brow, perturbed by his sudden urge to compliment her. He glanced up at her and immediatelly noticed that tell-tale smile she had that set off a bunch of alarms in his head; it also made his heart skip a beat when he noticed how cute she was....

With some effort, he managed to scrunch his face up enough to look angrily at her. "Love... Potion?? When... ?"

"I laced your cup, not the tea. Pretty clever, right?" She beamed over at him, bobbing in her chair with some excitement. "It's a new recipe I'm trying. How do you feel?"

Bauer didn't respond at first, instead he clenched his fists, shut his eyes, and slowly took a deep breath in. Platina watched with rapt interest. Bauer was an impressive man, with enough fortitude and willpower to shake off a good number of spells and potions. She'd made this potion with that though specially in mind, curious if she'd be able to make something even he couldn't overcome.

"Platina..."

She hesitated a moment, unsure by his tone of whether the potion had worked or if she was about to receive a scolding.

"I can't stop thinking about you." His expression had softened considerably compared the usual no-nonsense way he carried himself.

The little fox set her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands. "Yeah? Why not?"

"Because, you're the cutest girl I've ever met. Your hair, your eyes, just... everything about you. I love you."

She waved a hand dismissively at him and giggled. "Oh please... Keep going."

Bauer took her hand and moved to kneel down in front of her, bringing his head level to her own and staring longingly into her eyes. "Platina I think you should move here, with me. I'll take care of you, we should get married! I can't live without you!"

Platina suddenly found it very hard to look Bauer in the eyes, her face turning a shade of red as she diverted her attention off to some plants in the corner of the room. "O-oh! Uh... maybe the potion was a little too strong... uh... H-how about we just talk for a bit longer? Not rush into things, right?"

Bauer didn't move particularily fast, but she still found herself caught off guard when he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, locking her into a deep and passionate kiss that pushed her back into the chair. It took her a moment to regain her senses and push him back. The wholey infatuated Bauer relinquished the kiss immediatelly, pulling back and looking a little hurt.

"B-b-Bauer! I... Y-you just caught me off guard.." Did his eyes look that enchanting? She cuaght herself wondering for some reason. She began to feel a bit light headed, her chest began to feel warm as well. It suddenly dawned on her what had just happened; Bauer's kiss had just transferred some of the love potion to her. "Oh... Uh oh..."

----------------------------

Bauer felt drunk. The room swivelled and spun around him as he attempted to sit himself up in bed. Slowly, the world started to come back into focus. The first thing he'd notice was the absolute mess his cottage was in now. Furniture had been knocked over, a spot on the counter had most of it's contents shoved onto the floor. The nice teapot he'd been using yesterday was shattered... The memories of what happened began to flood in bit-by-bit and he felt his heart shift up into his throat. Surely this was all just a fever dream caused as a side effect of the potion? He began to notice articles of his clothing strewn across the floor, and mixed in with them were clothes that looked an awful lot like what his guest had been wearing last night too...

A groan drew his attention to the sly witch-in-training as she sat up in the bed beside him. She grinned sheepishly up at him and gave a nervous chuckle. "Well... I think that one needs a little more work. Waaay too strong. Oooh... I think I should keep an antidote on hand too when testing... haha..."

Bauer glared down at her, clearly unhappy with her. Something caught his attention and slowly his eyes shifted up towards her hat, which was still firmly planted on her head. It was the only article of clothing either of them still were wearing. Platina seemed to read his mind and jumped again at the opportunity to break the awkward silence. "Yep. Stayed on the whole time." She pinched the brim of the hat and straightened it on her head. "Mmmagic."
